Antique oak table top stationery box for correspondence and other ephemera to keep the desk tidy. Dating to late Victorian or early Edwardian period, the box has a flat hinged lid and a drop down front cover that opens to reveal three storage sections, one of which is divided in the middle. The interior of the lid has a leather attachment for storing pens and the box has brass key escutcheon and lid cartouche in the form of a shield.
