Royal Copenhagen porcelain Musselmalet sleeping cat figurine
Beautiful Danish white glossy porcelain figurine of a sleeping kitty cat featuring Royal Copenhagen's popular Blue Fluted (Musselmalet) motif on the back. The hand painted blue decoration is made up of delicate floral and foliate detail including a long blossoming flower across the cat's back.
Clearly marked on the base with a green stamp saying “Royal Copenhagen Denmark”. The bar over the "R" and "Y" in the word "Royal" dates the production of the cat to between 1992 and 1999. There is also a hand painted blue mark, which is the artist's signature.
