Made in 1978 under the auspices of The Household Division in tribute to the 25th anniversary of the coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Colonel-in-chief of all seven Guards Regiments in 1977.
The box portrays the Queen mounted side saddle and wearing the uniform of Colonel-in Chief of the Grenadier Guards - the senior Foot Guards. The box is inscribed with the official badge and motto of the Household Division, Septem Juncta in Uno (Seven Joined in One).
