Wonderful set of Mappin & Webb dessert / fruit cutlery knives for 6 persons in their original fitted case. Plated blades and sterling silver handles that are decorated in high-relief with a scrolling foliage design in typical Art Nouveau style. The black leather box is lined with cream and green satin and has the Mappin & Webb logo to the interior of the lid.
Made by Mappin & Webb and fully hallmarked for Sheffield, 1909.

Very good antique condition. Few small dings to handles; one blade slightly protrudes from the handle; some tiny bubbling to plating in one spot; the tip of one handle is blunted; wear to box commensurate with age and use.
