              Antique Victorian / Edwardian six piece sterling silver dressing table vanity set (mirror, perfume bottles, brushes) on walnut wooden tray
Wonderful six piece Edwardian sterling silver dressing / vanity table set comprising a hand mirror, oblong clothes brush, hair brush and two scent bottles on an Art Nouveau brass lined, two handled fruitwood tray inlaid with a floral design. The pieces are elaborately hand-chased to depict a scrolling and foliate design with a vacant cartouche on the mirror.

clothes brush - 15.5 cm (made by S Blanckensee & Son Ltd and assayed for Birmingham, 1904)
hair brush - 22.5 cm (made by Charles James Fox and assayed for Chester, 1898)
scent bottles - height 12 cm with stopper, 9 cm without, 7 cm across widest point (markings unclear)
tray - 3 cm tall, 35.5 cm handle to handle, 30 cm diameter
The pieces are in great condition, with no loss to bristles. Some dings, dents and piercings to the silver; wear and discolouration to mirror glass; small dent to top of mirror; scratches and signs of wear to perfume bottle collars; small chip to stopper; brass frame on tray doesn't sit flush on one side; slight discolouration to wood.
