1830’s Meissen porcelain figurine of Regency dandy gentleman holding a tricorne and flowers
Porcelain Meissen figurine of a Regency dandy leaning against a relief-moulded tree stump base. Dressed in jaunty waistcoat, breeches and coat that are ornately hand-painted with floral bouquets; in his right hand the man is holding a tricorne hat and in the left, a delicate flower. Rich enamelling in predominantly pink, red and blue colours.
Made by Meissen, German, c. 1830's; painted blue crossed swords mark and impressed number to base.

Restoration to neck and left leg and bottom of the coat, extending into the front of the tree stump; chip to front of neck; losses to both pinkies; losses to tree stump.
