Dressed in jaunty waistcoat, breeches and coat that are ornately hand-painted with floral bouquets; in his right hand the man is holding a tricorne hat and in the left, a delicate flower. Rich enamelling in predominantly pink, red and blue colours.
Made by Meissen, German, c. 1830's; painted blue crossed swords mark and impressed number to base.
