19th-century Samson of Paris porcelain sugar caster / muffineer, crafted in the Chinese Export armorial style. Featuring a gilt acorn finial atop a pierced dome, with an enamel cartouche at the centre showcasing a heraldic coat of arms with the words "Industria et Virtute" (virtue and industry) beneath

Additionally adorned with polychrome floral sprays, it stands on a circular foot. There is an Asian-style underglaze mark underneath.
