Wonderful 1980's statement brooch/pendant set with a large 45ct oval-cut amethyst. The stone is mounted in Edwardian-style 9ct yellow gold scrolling openwork border. The brooch has a secure locking safety catch as well as a safety chain. The movable bale on reverse converts this brooch into a pendant.
