Art Deco 6 person 50 piece oak cutlery canteen full dinner set
Impressive Art Deco 50pc cutlery canteen for 6 persons in its original presentation case. Full table service for main course and dessert that includes salt, mustard and serving spoons, as well as a jam / honey spoon and sugar tongs.
The knives have geometric ivorine handles typical of the style of the period and the spoons are silver plated; the rest of the flatware is made of nickel silver that is branded as “Wear-Wite stainless nickel silver”.
The cutlery is fashioned in the elegant Old English pattern apart from the sugar tongs which are decorated with reeded borders that are accented with delicate bows.
The set is housed in an oak case with green baize lining and a vacant shield-shaped brass cartouche to the lid, so this canteen can be personalised as a present.
