A charming antique Victorian silver plated tea set from the 1880s, beautifully blending Rococo Revival exuberance with the graceful forms of the Aesthetic style. The set comprises a teapot, a two-handled sugar bowl, and a milk jug, each richly hand-chased with intricate scrollwork, stylised foliage, and finely detailed geometric borders.
The teapot features a curving spout, an ornate cast handle with a shell motif, and a hinged lid topped with a turned walnut finial. The sugar bowl and milk jug mirror the same decorative spirit, the sugar with twin handles and the milk jug with a flared spout. Each piece presents two vacant cartouches, perfect for personalisation or engraving.
